Our thoughts...
Pat Kelsey and the Cards, will embark on an ambitious non-conference schedule, that will hopefully prepare them for ACC play and a deep NCAA Tournament run. A lot could depend on the courts final decision on Seth Trimble. Either way, this team should be a tough out come March.
The Cards will face some stout challenges with games at Memphis, Texas, 2026 National Champion Michigan, at Kentucky, and a neutral site matchup with Baylor.
The stars came out for today's Cards vs. Dayton volleyball game. Former Cards @CarraCresse and @anna_debeer were in the building as the Cards swept the Flyers 3-0
Congratulations to Cara Cresse on her recent wedding to former Cards and current Kansas City Chiefs football player @AshtonGillotte

No one knows, how we will react, to the loss of someone, especially when you've never met them in person. Louisville fans suffered a tremendous loss yesterday, when one of their very own suddenly passed away.
Louisville Twitter woke up to the shocking news that, Jacori "Cori" "Corito" @OyyyeeeCorito86 had left this world behind, leaving his family, friends and followers on the social media platform in utter disbelief. I had just seen him post about his beloved Cardinals, as he always did, the night before. While I never met Cori, we did follow each other on Twitter and recently discussed the Louisville coaching search on the @power10pod Spaces. I loved his sense of humor, and how he seemed to take everything in stride. Something I struggle with and judging by the outpouring I saw on Twitter yesterday, he leaves a legacy, that I'm not sure he even realized was as far reaching as it was.
I saw post after post after post of his followers and friends talking about their sudden loss, and how he brought so much humor and joy to those that followed him. I never saw one single disparaging word, even UK fans posted about what a good guy he was, and how they appreciated his levity and the respect that he always displayed. Not many people on this planet, can lay claim to that type of influence and effect on others. Cori can.
Yesterday, I found myself reading every post that I saw talking about Cori. Reading stories of how they had met on Twitter, and interactions they had with him. Pictures were posted of a man that was always repping his beloved University of Louisville Cardinals, with his famous "L's up" and Cardinal gear.
You saw a man that looked happy and was in his element around other fans that he interacted with. You saw him at tailgates, in the Yum Center, laughing, joking and smiling. More than that though, you saw how others in those photos were always smiling with or at him.
Cori had over 4,000 followers on Twitter and had posted over 104,000 times since joining the platform in 2012. You don't have that many followers, if you're not a genuinely good dude. The fact that Cori did, speaks volumes about what kind of person he was. You don't have to "know" a person, to know that they are good people.
All you must do, his see how his friends speak about him. From yesterday, everyone spoke, and everyone spoke very highly of Cori, even fans from rival teams. That "is" a legacy! We would all like to be remembered like that, not of us are or will be unfortunately. But, if I learned anything from watching Cori from afar, and from posts that I read yesterday from his many admirers, it's that we should all aspire to be better each day. To be kind, to laugh, love and live everyday like there is no tomorrow, because we just never know when it will be our time to be called home.
Hug your loved ones, laugh with your friends and love like there is NO tomorrow. Rest in paradise friend, I never knew you, but that's why your legacy is so great... because I "feel" like I did.
